The Lenovo Ideapad Y550 is part of the new line of laptops from Lenovo revamped. It is no secret that Lenovo has made great business books with the ThinkPad line for some time, but they have never been something that has been general and multimedia use.
The Y550 is a multi-media maven dream with many options to address them as Nvidia GFX and Dolby. The Ideapad Y550 also comes with a widescreen 15.6 inch display with 16:10. It has a little power all the portability and great value. The Y550 comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo, but can be upgraded for an additional price to a Core i7. Starting prices on computers Y550 laptops are very nice at $ 669.

Conclusion
The Lenovo Ideapad Y550 is a beautiful multi-media laptop with only a few places that need improvement. Heat and noise is not too much and performance is very good especially for a laptop that is less than $ 900. The advantages of discrete graphics are great it's not that expensive to upgrade the Lenovo site. With a little tinkering, you can set up a very nice Windows 7 laptop for less than $ 1000
