Canon Lens Kit
Many people have asked about repairs on their cover pages / shutters on their cameras for Canon PowerShot SD series, so I prepared some instructions. Please let others know if you found this article helpful.
The kit barrier on most devices the Canon PowerShot SD series is a bit complicated but not impossible to replace you. Just have a little patience, a steady hand and a small screwdriver edge. We use dental picks, they work great!
To begin, you will need to turn on the camera and extend the lens, then open the battery cover to turn off the camera and keep the lens Out. This allows you to easily work on the front lens.

Then, place the double-sided tape on the cover fence. VERY IMPORTANT: Peel the yellow ribbon off the backing paper but DO NOT remove the paper from the side that is cut to fit the shape of the band! Remove the small part the result paper tape back on itself and stick. Bye bye tape!
Fold the tabs on the edge, do not let them take the shot or the lens cover will not fit and will aim at jam. The lines of tape with a tab at about 11 hours, then fold the tabs and press them as they do not stick.
Now, Put on your cap or black chrome lens, align the CAP with the small print at the bottom, you'll see how it goes easily.
Commissioning of the new device photograph and admire your DIY! Congratulations, you've fixed your unit yourself for $ 20 and good old Geek Squad told you it would be $ 200 and take 3-4 weeks to repair.
