Digital Camera size is 2MB help?
when I transfer the photos on my digital camera to my pc is like 1.5 or 2 mb How can I reduce the size.
When taking pictures, the only ways to make smaller files are: 1) reduce the quality photos or 2) reduce the resolution horizontal / vertical picture. Decrease of average quality rating of very good quality or high jpeg JPEG baseline or low quality. Basically, it compresses the file further, making it smaller. Decrease of resolution means changing the megapixels from say, 5 MP to 3 MP. Essentially, this means there is less data, so that the file is smaller. Of the two, you can probably try to diminish the quality / Increase the compression first, then decreasing resolution. However, for the pictures already taken, you can not reduce the size to the same device, you must transfer these. Be aware that if you lower the resolution too high, you may not get a file that will make a reasonably sized print.
