Many of our customers ask for Infra Red Night Vision Security Cameras. We believe that this is mainly due to over-frequent use of the term in Internet commerce. The main goal that you want REACH: identification of suspects.
Infra Red LED
These days CCTV Cameras Dome are often equipped with built-in infrared LEDs. This is a bullet box in the camera view and illuminate only that area. Any activity on the border or corner areas of the camera view will not be illuminated. Also – CCD image sensors in most cameras at low cost of calculating light sensitivety whole and thus the opening and subsequent closure of the auto iris or shutter through enlightenment global vision camera. Since border areas are completely dark, the iris is opened wider to receive exposure more light on the CCD chip.
What happens now is not rocket science, the faces of suspects, facing the camera in the center view, which is directly illuminated by the infrared already reflects too much light right back into the iris wide open. The face will be more informed and unidentifiable.
You think that's an exaggeration? Most of all images of low cost Security "> Security cameras with integrated infra red, having surrendered to the police is not used. Experts the police can see at a glance whether CCTV footage has a chance to prevail in court or not.
DSS Night Vision
Another possibility is DSS, which stands for Digital Slow formwork. The intelligent electronics in the smart camera to reduce the shutter speed, while in same time avoiding many negative side effects of the analog version of everything. With this technology, natural light can be enlarged up and fifty times higher.
Practically this means that it must be "some" light in the region, or distant light shines in the region. With a better moon light security cameras and light, sometimes even star will be sufficient.
For installers to be on the safe side when quoting and committing to some capabilities of the system, I recommend using cameras Night Vision DSS, as there is a light source like a street lighting etc within 100 yards.
