Which Go Pro Hd Camera?
Go Pro HD cameras are designed to attach safely onto helmets or vehicles, or to be worn, so that footage can be captured without having to have a hand free for pointing and aiming. At the same time they are highly durable with a removable casing that means they can take strikes and blows without becoming damaged. HD Motorsports Hero: The HD Motorsports Hero is perfect for mounting to vehicles or to helmets for extreme motorsports such as scrambling, dirt biking, motocross, rally driving, off-road racing, quad biking, jet skiing and anything else with an engine. This Go Pro HD camera has up to 2.5 hours of battery life, an expansion slot for SD cards (allowing up to 32GB which will provide 9 hours of space), a shock proof removable casing and a resolution of 1080p and top frame rate of 60 frames per second (at 720p). It also features waterproof casing up to 60 meters and has a finely tuned recording ability which allows it to pick out details over the roar of an engine and the sound of the wind. This makes it the most high spec camera of its kind, and perfectly suited to motorheads.
Hero Wide Angle: The Hero Wide Angle is designed to give users a second view on the action by providing a wide angle. If you have the mounts then you can attach both cameras at the same time to get a wide angle on the action. This is available at a slightly lower cost than the wide heroes designed for specific use (such as the Motor Sport Hero Wide) and is designed to allow you to cut between multiple angles cheaply and easily. For example if you’re going dirt biking why not have a helmet hero filming the action forwards from your perspective (attached to your helmet) and a second angle on the handlebars aimed at you. This way you can cut between shots of your action and then your looks of concentration and/or terror in the editing room. This provides 56 minutes of high resolution video and waterproof to 30 metres.
HD Hero Naked: The HD Hero Naked is a wearable Go Pro camera for those sports that don’t include a vehicle. Great for things such as paintballing or parkour this will attach to any curved surface and is the world’s highest performance wearable camera boasting the same specs as the motorsport hero.
Helmet Hero: The helmet hero is designed specifically to be attached to helmets making it great for such activities as paintballing or sky diving. It is officially the world’s smallest wireless mountable video camera for outdoor sports and can be mounted to your gear as well as the helet. This provides you with 56 minutes of ‘TV quality’ footage as well as supporting up to 2GB SD cards. To use our dirt biking example again this camera would be perfect for attaching to the frame of a bike to allow for a ground-level view, or great for caving due to its small size and simple use. Waterproof up to 100 feet. It acts as a great low cost alternative to the Hero naked.
