NEED A TELEPHOTO much my Canon 50D?
I'M NOT A PRO PHOTOGRAPHER. I AM A need for a telephoto lens for my Canon EOS 50D CAMERA. I WANT TO MAKE USE OF SPORTS (FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, ECT) AND WILDLIFE PHOTOS When I travel to Montana. I'm friends with a photographer who loves his 70-200mm 2.8 N / I have said to his resolution. I would like to find a GOOD PRICE But it seems that I could pay more than the camera. I am so confused. I finally identified AND MEANS IS USM USM, but now I see THAT THERE EF, EF-L, EF-S and I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ALL THE WAYS OF THIS. I just try to find a good one that will work FOR THESE THINGS THAT I WANT TO DO. I also watched the TAMRON IN (to save money) but concluded SOME COMMENTS ON IT IS A DELAY SEC 3-4 in low light that will be a problem when you try to get a PLAN OF ACTION SPORTS. Can someone help??
The mean EF (Electro-Focus). This is the name for standard lens Canon mount. As another example, the Nikon lens mount is called the F-mount. Canon EF-S lenses are designed exclusively for the EOS Rebel and 20/30/40/50D line cameras have sensors smaller than, large expensive 1D / s 5D cameras. When you see an "L" designation is one of Canon's professional line of luxury or lentils. It is a cliché, but a joke common than "L" means that expensive "L." The fact is good glass is never cheap and it is not uncommon to have more money invested in the lenses of cameras. As an extreme example, the more expensive Canon telephoto lens ever made is on sale for $ 120,000 in "used" if BH Photo New York (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productList&A=buyUsed&Q = 116642). When was the last time you saw a $ 120,000 camera? In all sincerity, if you're over budget, take a look at the Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS USM. I bought mine for about $ 550. The day I bought it, I compared with the EF 70-200mm f / 4 IS L-series lens and honestly, I could not see a big enough difference in my pictures to justify $ 400 more for the "best" of the lens. Do keep in mind that in very low light, you will either have to use a flash, bump up your ISO or living with a sudden blur, even if your spending $ 1700 on the large f2.8 L-Series Zoom. These are the breaks and it should also be noted that this is not often an additional stop you save the opening of a photo also bad. On the target mark off, you take some risks with these lenses. I have owned Tamron, Tokina and Sigma lenses. The Sigma was great, but short-focused on my 40D. I finally got a copy that worked but then I noticed the picture had a funky yellow tint. The Tamron and Tokina simply not feel they were well built one I was done after I saw a Tamron laminated glass is separated. Your mileage may vary, but I'm sticking with Canon lenses and Nikon.
