What is the difference between an SLR and a DSLR?
I'm buying a camera and I do not know what is the difference between them?
SLR – Lens Reflex. The single camera has a mirror and prism to see exactly what is seen through the lens. When taking the photo, the mirror moves out of the way, the shutter opens and the picture is taken. DSLR is a "digital" that records images in digital camera with a sensor instead of film. Rest everything is like in a conventional 35mm film based SLR.
