Sony Digital Mavica

The history and development of digital cameras
If the history of the camera is well documented and can be traced over a hundred years his cousin had less digital careful if you'll pardon the pun. The history of the digital camera starts with a man named Eugene F. Lally who worked in jet propulsion systems and developing artificial gravity. Outside of work, however Lally spent considerable time studying how to use mosaic photodetectors to record digital images. The use of this technology was not originally intended for the public sphere, but was instead being used by astronauts in order to them to photograph the planets, and thus find their position in space.
At this stage, however, the technology was not yet there to realize these concepts. This work went on dormant until 1975, when Steven Sasson an engineer working for Eastman Kodak has managed to gather some Motorola ancient elements of existing parts and Fairchild Camera Kodak CCD sensors. The result is a device the size of a toaster that weighed nearly four kilograms. Images are recorded digitally on a cassette and have been consulted on the use of a special screen. This first model has serious limitations, however, with the provision to record only in black and white and a 23 second delay component. But although the resolution of 0.1 mega pixel is poor by current standards, when it was truly revolutionary. Kodak has not realize the potential of the device and instead focused on the development of the camera.
While some digital camera models saw day during the seventy it was not until Sony released the Mavica (Magnetic Video Camera) in 1981 that the ball was digital put in stock. Although the Mavica was not a camera in the strictest sense of the technology used was a predecessor of modern variants. In this stage, however, the device images stored on floppy disks, each capable of holding fifty photographs, the shutter speed has been improved but one sixtieth of a second and the device was portable.
The eighties saw the true beginning of the digital age the camera was purely a manifestation of this technological progress. Fairchild was once again helped to create the first truly device Digital, called the sky, it was used to photograph the aurora. What made the digital camera was really unlike devices earlier, she has also recorded the digital images. These early cameras did not, however, offered for sale to the public mass, the first device to do so was the Dycam Model 1 Released in 1990, he had a CCD sensor, the images stored in digital format and can be connected directly to a PC Download the image.
None of these devices are affordable, however. It was not until Apple released the Quick Take 100 in 1994, a camera was available to consumers under the brand of one thousand dollars. Two years later with widespread card use media that digital technology truly took off. In 1995, however, a prototype device has been produced by Casio and bore all the characteristics of design and layout which can be seen on modern cameras, as a display building at the rear of the unit.
Since that time, the device Digital photography is becoming smaller and more affordable. Its development has not been fast, but over time it became a device that is present in almost all households in developed countries. They are now a practical and usable for saving images and take pictures of unforgettable moments in life.
